2014 Daily December 17--Holiday Party Mix

One of my good friends sent me this recipe a few years ago, and my family loves it!  It is super easy and very adaptable to any holiday.  We made it with candy corn because we had some left over, but you can leave that out and adjust other ingredients.  The original recipe calls for Corn Pops, but we didn't have any when we made it this time, so we just put in more pretzels.  So it is a super flexible recipe.  Just try to keep the total amount of cups the same for the whole recipe.
It quickly disappears as it sits on the counter to cool. Enjoy!

Holiday Party Mix

1 bag microwave popcorn, popped
2 cups pretzels
1 cup M&M's
1 cup candy corn or omit and increase another ingredient by 1 cup
2 cups Rice Chex cereal
1 cup Corn Pops cereal

1 bag white chocolate chips (about 1 3/4 cups)
2 Tablespoons oil

*Mix dry ingredients in one large bowl.
*Melt chocolate chips and oil in microwave bowl for 1 minute and stir until smooth.  If not completely melted then do for 30 more seconds and stir until smooth.
*Pour chocolate over dry mix and stir until evenly coated and spread on wax paper to dry.

Yum!
